One-winged goose

Twas a sad sight on the Mount Vernon Trail this evening. This Canada goose had an injured right wing that just hung by its side. The goose continued to eat grass and move slowly along but I am afraid it's days are numbered.

    Aww, that is awfully sad. Now you're going to have to find a photo of a puppy to return to a happy blog.
